Eat

  • Contramar
    • Popular seafood spot but worth the hour wait!
    • Tuna tostadas, shrimp tacos and octopus were delicious. I would skip on fish quesadillas.
  • Guzina oaxaca
    • Oaxacan food in the fancy Polanco neighborhood with nice houses.
    • Mole and tamales!
  • Fonda Margarita
    • Lowkey breakfast spot with amazing chilaquiles and live music.
    • Go early and expect a line
  • Molino “El Pujol”
    • Mini spot to get delicious corn related food.
    • I would try the funky huitlacoche taco (corn fungus) and the taco aguiacate (the leaf taco is incredible).
    • Also get tamales and esquites!
  • El Cardenal*
    • Traditional food
  • La Casa de Toño en Zona Rosa*

  • Comal Oculto
    • Nice food option near Casa Estudio Luis Barragá
    • We only had the stand version and it was delicious. Especially the taco dechamorro
  • Maizajo
    • Trendy place with a line but the ribeye, suadero and daily tacos were all great!
    • I didn’t like the lamb flauta

    • Book in advance
